"Tells the true story of autism and autistic people." The film follows the exploits of individuals participating in the ANCA World Autism Festival and the International Naturally Autistic People Awards as it travels from its home in Canada to its first international foray in Edinburgh Scotland. Along the way audience members glean important and often surprising insights about the true nature of what being autistic means and how autistic people themselves can support society to better understand this fast growing international community. Covering a wide range of topics and experiences, audience members gain an understanding and experience of autism and autistic people that is often in stark contrast to mainstream media coverage and depictions of autism and autistic people - who are our family members, friends and neighbors.
